How We Check Wetherspoon Menu Prices & Calories
Prices vary by pub — the dish prices on this page were sampled from the official menus of a pub in Yate, England and a pub in Glasgow. Check the Wetherspoon app or your local pub for the exact price before you order.
Who edits this guide
This guide is edited by Michael Joe, an independent editor. It is a fan-run reference site: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to JD Wetherspoon plc, and nobody at Wetherspoon checks or approves what we publish. The pub's own menu — in the pub or in the official app — is always the authoritative version.
Where the prices and calories come from
Every price and calorie figure on this site is read from the official JD Wetherspoon pub menu PDFs published on jdwetherspoon.com. We currently sample two pubs: one in Yate, England and one in Glasgow, Scotland. Wetherspoon prints two prices for many mains — one with a soft drink, one with an alcoholic drink — and where it does, we show both, labelled. A dish sold in two sizes shows both sizes. Where a dish is not on a sampled menu, we say so; where we have no sourced price, the page says the price varies by pub instead of guessing.
Calorie figures are the official figures printed on those menus, for the serve the page describes. We never estimate a calorie figure, adjust one from a similar dish, or average the two pubs' figures.
What we never publish
We do not list allergens ourselves. Allergen information is safety-critical and changes as recipes change, so dish pages link to the official allergen information on jdwetherspoon.com; our allergens and nutrition page explains the official sources. We also never publish a price copied from another menu website — if it is not on an official Wetherspoon menu, it does not go on a dish page.
How often we re-check
We re-check the full menu against the latest official PDFs every month, and sooner when Wetherspoon publishes a new menu. Every dish page carries the date its figures were last checked, and our data articles state the date their data was taken. Prices still vary by pub — sometimes street by street — so treat every figure here as the sampled pub's price, not a national price.
Report a wrong price
Spotted a figure that does not match your pub, or a dish that has left the menu? Tell us via the contact page with the dish name and the pub town, and we will check it against the official menus and correct the page if we are wrong.
